Trumpeter 1/144 F-22A #5

Applied weathering on both upper and lower airframe, masked the rest of the area near the exhaust ports.

Wanted to have some metallic expression in this area - I have mixed the base light grey (GSI #338) with small portion of Gaia 1001 (silver) and Modo gun metal (MX-02). With the mask on, I cannot tell much of the difference of this "metallic" 338 compared to the actual 338. There will be a few more colors to be applied in the exhaust ports.

Masking is a basic technique for this 1/144 F-22A.

The below photo was taken before the masking exercise, F-22A together with a 1/144 RG core fighter.

Core fighter is so small compared to F-22A, and remember - core fighter can work in both earth and space !
