Cockpit completed with a few modifications : adding safety belts, PE pedals, copper wire and steel ball to make the manual shift handle, copper wire and instant glue to make the levers on steering wheels and I particularly like the 3D sticker on the steeling wheel !!

Adding a bit more decals of EFSF / EFF, and training my hands on adding proper panel lines.

Xray X12 2021 chassis build #1

Last kit to kick start on the eve of 2020.

It comes with metal chassis and the build is really smooth. Usual Xray standard. 

I particularly like that it comes with a few spacer bar to adjust front ride height, and additional holes on the chassis to allow long / short wheel base. 

I am still running my X12 2011 after so many years and this is how I like its pan car.

Adding some panel lines. First time I am trying this technique and sure they are far from being done nicely. A good practice and learning. I am using Madworks 0.15mm carving knife.

Applied putty for a few areas where the gaps are obvious. I have applied Tamiya aluminium spray can on the joint before the assemble of calf. The finishing of the paint isn't as nice as using airbrush. Since I the a few spray cans left over, decided to finish them first.

Applied Gaia yellow (#05) on the parts which was pre-shaded last time

Gaia #63 blue grey on main body and foot

Parts are ready for examine

Assemble time ? not really ready, still have many area to prime and paint

Applied some decals since it has been raining for days and no chance for painting
