Half naked Xray X1 and GQ tires

Only managed to quick paint the front wing for the test run, it is still 'naked' for rest of bodyshell

GQ rearbtires after 2 runs, next time might test with Ride tires.

PC8 and Rec-Mount

SRM power meter - need a PC8

Feel like missing something when I used the SRM power meter with Garmin computer :)

Can't stop myself to go for the match computer.

Xray X1 building in progress

This is the 2016 version, a very late build of last year model. Overall build is smooth and standard xray quality.

Fitting a ProtoForm F1 body, it took quite sometime to cut to the shape that can fit in the chassis well. Need the patience.

Almost done with the cut, except the front wing

Fitting a set of GQ tires, medium in front and soft in rear.

Say goodbye to the Wilier GTR frame, and moved everything to Bianchi Oltre XR2

Ready to be a commute bike with Ultegra 6870 di2, Stages power meter, Ceramic Speed oversized pulley, Campy Eurus rims with Vittoria Corsa speed tubeless tires :

Tailfin carbon rack and bag

Tailfin is a kickstart company which started last year

Worth the wait and the carbon rack can be easily installed on any carbon frame in 10 mins

And I have tested it today under heavy rain, no sign of water leak inside the bag :-)

F10 with Bora one 35 tubular

Time to swap out the racing zero rims from F10

First try on tubular - Bora One 35 with Veloflex Arenberg 25mm tires

Maintenance - Wilier GTR

Another maintenance after 1300km total mileage, the moving parts are a bit dirty :

 

Clean up the chain, chainrings, jockey wheels and cassette :

 

  

Wait for fully dry, and re lub the moving parts

Adjusted stem all the way down to bottom, move the saddle up a bit to fit the pedaling with Ultegra 6800 pedals. Also installed super record jockey wheels to the Record 11 drive train. The most comfortable bicycle I have ever.

After a few hundreds of km, I feel the Deda superleggera stem and bar combination is too soft for XR2.
