Decals done, and prepared the rest of the small parts (quite a number of parts for such a small kit), painted and installed.

Complete the basic build. Let paints dry for couple of days, before the wash.

First ever try on AFV modelling, started with a small one

One simple sprue but still come with a piece of PE.

RG Evo 1/5 bikes - both EP and GP version

1/5 GP bike has its own charm, RG Evo is the brand to go for.

My friend delivered this me over the last Xmas ! and obviously, with the EP version too

Why not both ?

The GP bike comes with engine - an OS engine not sure if it is .12 or .15, and with a trimmed down heat sink to fit inside the chassis, a special pipe set too.

Back to the canopy work

Bandai provided two type of canopy, both are in close position. One is without the frame so no need to mask, the other one is typical - I pick the typical one as the frame for the other type seems too thick ...

But, somehow Bandai did not provide a user-friendly canopy this time, there are 4 gates connecting to it (while there are 3 on the frameless one) and there are two gates which will be visible after installation. 

The gate is so big and visible, and turns a bit white too - I started from #400 sand paper and end with #10,000. The result is :

Next is polishing with compounds and soak in floor clearer.

Applied Mr Color c074 on landing gear bays and cockpit and c319 on the air intake cone

Modo MX-02 for the panel in front of the cockpit

Volks IMS 1/100 K.O.G. #10

 Applied Gaia grey primer, followed by Mr Color GX209 on rest of the feet parts

Airfix 1/72 A-4B/Q #18 (completed)

The last step is to make the light on the right landing gear well cover.

Found an injection pin associated with the Bandai 1/72 A-Wing, which seems to be a good fit in size. 

Get it painted (siliver -> gloss black -> grey)

Installed the light and completed the build !
