HG Zaku II F2 #10

Added panel lines on the surface of the eyelet holder, painted the holder with dark blue color, and installed the metal crown eyelet with clear red part.

Last to do is the details of the machine gun.

Follow the manual, started with the head inner structure.

Soldered the wire before installing the eye light. 

The glass protector of eye has a few seams around the surface facing outside, sandpaper followed by polishing to make it shinny again. 

Primed the plastic parts with GSI #1200 primer, Gaia gloss ultra black as base color and then applied a few thin layers of Gaia star-bright silver and gold on the inner structure. 

Mixed Gaia semi gloss clear with a few drop of clear purple and coat on the metal color.

Applied panel line and quickly put the parts together and tested the light.

drill a 2.9mm hole on the part and fit a small piece of metal eyelet inside.

Look ok.

Also mixed GSI #318 (brown) with a bit of Gaia #221 (German Grey) for the main color of the machine gun.

Infinity IF18-II

 After IF15 and IF15W, I trust. 

REDS 721 Pro Tuned

Tried the Reds GT monster tuned before, and love it !

This time - 721 pro tuned for on road 1/8. I would expect it is monster x2 !!

1/10 Nitro TCs

 Over the last few weekend, busy testing the two 1/10 gas cars. IF15 and MTX7. 

Both are using the same engine from Picco, same pipe and tires too. 

IF15 has just finished its engine run in, and started to perform. 

MTX7 has completed the engine run-in before the IF15's one, however, still require a lot of dial on the chassis setup. Original upper deck has been damaged, rear belt gone ... those are replaced and will need more time to find the right setup. 

At this stage, I would say I like the IF15 more. While I still have the IF15W to build, and my friend already used his IF15W to overlap me. I have to catch up. 

PG Zaku II #1

One of the backlog project, and has been pending for 20 years.

After the HG Zaku F2, I decided to challenge the PG. 

I did assemble a bit over the years : the gun, the hammer, and the mono eye. Just another 99% to finish next.

 

Gimar MIG12 Blu Demon S12 engine

First time to try this blu demon. The cuts on the exhaust port from engine block is not as smooth as what I can see from other modified engine. Will try this on a 1/10 220mm GP.

Assemble time.

It is almost there but not quite yet, pending the final parts - mono eye and the machine gun to be the last bit of details before the end.
