Applied Gaia star bright gold followed by a few layers of Premium red (clear red) on the airplane.

Let it dry for 48 hours and brush on Tamiya enamel colors. Panel lines with Tamiya brown liquid. 

The transparent canopy is brush with enamel blue on the inner surface.

A-1J is coming with the weapon set.

Re paint the silver plate behind the clear red part using matt black.

Pre shade the backpack parts with #1500 black primer, main color used are Mr Color 81, 114 and UG 21.

Sword is sprayed with Finishers chrome silver and Gaia star bright gold. 

Airfix 1/72 A-4B/Q #2

Applied a mixture of german grey + Gaia 072 on cockpit area, GSI c156 on the inner wall / structure of air intake and nose wheel well, Modo MX-02 on the inner surface of exhaust, and Modo T-024 on the fans.

The resin seat has been filed to fit the height of the cockpit and not exceeding the height of the wall behind the seat. Will have to test fit with the canopy in close position after fuselage combined. For time being, applied german grey as back color and Gaia 072 as highlight. 

Applied decals on cockpit. Installed both air intake before fuselage combined, and installed the exhaust and air intake inner structure on to the left side of fuselage.

Control stick is hand brush with grey, black and white. Installed it into position and ensure it will not block the ejection seat installation in future.

Added two-tone color on the blue armour, and applied mixture of gloss black + clear black on the black parts.

Airfix 1/72 A-4B/Q #1

Another kit from Airfix and this time it is not the WWII story.

A-4B or A-4Q, I am still yet to decide but just start cleaning the gates and test fit the major parts for cockpit, air intake, exhaust, fuselage and wing. 

Everything seems fit well. The only optional part I used this round is the resin ejection seat.

Prepared rest of armour parts for paint booth.

Blue : #1500 primer -> GX 204 metallic blue

Black : #1500 primer -> MX-02

And then trial build again, yet to decide on the next coloring.

First 2 main colors -

1. Silver Armour : #1500 black primer -> Modo T-024 Armour Iron -> Semi gloss mixed with drops of transparent purple

2. Joints / Structure : #1200 grey primer -> Gaia German Grey -> GX114 matt clear

Gold color on head parts are Gaia Star Bright Gold, and the purple under eyes are based on Modo T-024 overcoat with transparent purple.

Weathering pass 3 using AK dark and light grey wash, and a bit of Gundam Marker blue.

Final coat of GX114 flat on whole fuselage and completed this little project.

Got couple of them in collection now.

Bought this end of last year and here is the start of trail build.

Spent one hour for this :

And another 2 hours for this :

A little bit less than addition hour for this :

Mostly PS plastic, but a bit to the soft side, especially the dark brown color joints / internal structure parts, almost think they are PC parts.

Fitting is perfect as usual Bandai magic, with some areas of seam but I opt not to deal with them for this kit.
