Volks IMS 1/100 K.O.G. #1

I promised myself to start some Five Star Stories model kit for years. 

Here is the first candidate - I was told, the easiest one, or at least one of the most easiest one.

I am "one head" experience now with FSS, to be exact, "one head inner frame" experience.

The fit is not bad, just required some force to keep the parts together, and some part are "RG" level small size. I am excited.

 

Tamiya 1/20 P-34 1976 #2

Weather the pipe with a touch of Modo smoke effect, and final coated with semi gloss clear + small amount of purple clear. Also applied an engine grease wash on the engine body and gear box.

Installed engine covers, spark plug lines and PE.

Airfix 1/72 A-4B/Q #8

More decals, but still not 100% done. At least completed the harder one along the air intake which required some cut to fit on the curve surface and inner surface (the given decals are way too long for the red line inside the air intake).

Applied a wash on gear wells and air brake covers & wells.

Tamiya 1/20 P-34 1976 #1

Love the 6-wheeler since I was a kid, and I still love it after so many years. I never build one, until now.

As usual, the Tamiya 70's F1 kit in 1/20 scale start with its engine and gear box. 

Putty time

Applied 3 colors :

Modo T023 Engine Alu (engine / gear box)

GSI SM 205 (pipes)

Finishers Chrome silver (distribution box)

Airfix 1/72 A-4B/Q #7

Continue with the decals, moving very slowly on this project, applied red color on the edges of the airbrake cover with a water base pan and test, it looks perfect and easy to apply.

And

Number 57 Armored Puppet #2 (completed)

Completed the basic build, except one elbow joint damage and re-make with 2mm plastic rod, and also my mistake to lose one little rod (1.96mm to be exact) on knee joint, the build is simple and smooth. 

Sent it for a bath, and applied the following color with a surface spray of Gaia P01 as I believe it is ABS material :

- Gaia star brigth gold

- Modo MX-02 

- Modo T-24 silver

Completed this 7cm kit.

Number 57 Armored Puppet #1

Look at this little kit, it is about 7-8cm tall when built. And there are still details on the plastic and overall fitting isn't bad. Except for the elbow joint, which I broke its left joint during the build, will require a bit of sanding before pushing the parts together. Use 1.6mm plastic pin to recover it, feel a bit loose and might need a close to 2.0mm pin instead.
