Installed the fast internal gear set with kyosho 300k oil in front and 30k oil in rear, also changed to alloy front 10 degree caster blocks.

Not touching static model for years, this re release of M23 looks good and decide to start again.

Also got the photo-etched parts to enhance the details.

Kyosho Plazma LM - 962c

Lovely new collection, it comes with a pre-painted body shell and a clear body shell.

Serpent S411 Eryx shocks

3 out of 4 shocks of Eryx experienced leakage after a few runs.

I used the o-rings from team Durango to replace the original o-rings. Seem fitting and working well.

Spent a few weekends with this car.

Final setup :

Front AE .22 spring, Rear middle AE Red spring, side AE gold springs

mid shock - yokomo 450wt, slide shock - Xray 350cts

Front suspension - 1mm shim to widen the track width

Rear axle - 1.5mm shim to widen the track width

Bodyshell is Protoform Speed 12B 1610-21, with additional rear and side wings to make the car more stable.

Progress on Capricorn C801

Very slow progress so far. The build quality are good and parts are fitting well together.
Similar to my other Italian GP, the parts are from many different bags for one single build step. Manual is clear and provides good reference on part / bag / size. I found it easier to build than Motonica :)

Yokomo BD7

Yokomo BD7 is ready. Equipped with LRP Flow and x20 10.5 motor, gear at 32/116T and Flow v5 firmware at 1,2,2,2,7,3,0. Good pick up acceleration and top speed !
