It has been raining a lot lately, not good for painting .... 

The rear spoiler has been treated by surface primer and sanding, and started with a bit 'dry' of black color paints today :

After a few thin coats, it is ended with a bit of 'wet' paints :

All good for today.

Tested Shepherd 1/10 foam

Started with a new set of Shepherd 1/10 foam in x10, with purple in front and green in rear. Not a bad combination !

The previous set of Xceed tires last for 15 runs, let see how much run it can last this time.

New charging cables for Hyperion 720 duo

I had some charging resulted in unbalanced cells with 2s shorty lately. Suspect my lipo work too hard but end up - it was the cable problem.

Refresh the cables and now the lipo are all balanced !!

CRC 1/10 tires are almost gone

It has good overall traction but not easy to find. The front tires are very thin now.

Was told that this is the best solution for water base paint

Weekdays are way more quiet and no GP in the morning. Best time for EP pan car !

Minor touch up and sanding on rear spoiler and chassis plate under front suspension.

Mid mount motor Losi 22

Working in my losi 22 today. Mounted the esc on a piece of Lexan plate and fitted on top of the shorty lipo.

Decided to redo the bottom chassis which I have painted a while ago.

First, removed the pipes :

Then, drilled holes on the bottom side :

Need to do some putty touch up, and re do the painting later.

Painted the rear body shell and next to do a bit touch up before applying stickers. The weather does not help on painting lately.

This round with KO ex1 receiver, still the same hobby wing 2.0 esc and speed passion 11.5t motor, and lots of boost and turbo !
