F40 body shell for 1/12 pan car
It is a 1/16 body shell for some other RC chassis, I think it is nice so fit it on an Xray x12 pan car.
Shell color scheme.

Xray X10 Link pan car - run again after many years
Home track has a new surface recently, apparently it has a very high traction and while it is a foam tires killer for big scale like 1/8 on road gas cars, 1/10 pan cars would be benefits.
Tested run for a few days with my old X10 link - with some old tires - not even require the tire additives and it ran fantastically !
Tire wearing - as shown in the picture are after about 30 mins of run (4 packs of Lipo), I would say it is acceptable as a high grip surface and the car really stick to the ground without additives. It is mostly the front tires that got turn down in 30 mins, rear tires seems to be able to last for 2+ set of front tires.

Re release Hotshot
Chassis done together with the wiring job inside the water proof (?) compartment. Small space inside and the wires cannot contact with the mid shaft which is running on top. Decided to do an relatively easy job by using Novak GTX brushed ESC. In fact, I think a small footprint BL system will also fit.
My last Hotshot was lost in the 80s - when I was still using AM system it got jam and lost control on the Hotshot, when running into the sea. I have not touched any Hotshot since that moment. A dark hole left in my heart and now 30+ years past, I will have to fill that hole.

RG RX-78-2 #5
Continue on the core fighter.
After taking this photo, saw a few areas to patch. It is fun to build this RG, just have to deal with the super small parts and have to be patient.
Team Power Radon Pro v2 ESC
Without programming card, and setup the ESC directly via the provided USB link and software. Easy to setup if you have experience with Hobbywing ESC 2.0/2.1, very similar. Match it with a Team Power 21T motor on the Optima re release, tested 5 degree each for boost and turbo setting. Next time will test 10 degree for both parameters.
Note that I have tried 3 USB cable before it finally works on connection with PC.
It works well with the SilverBack HV Lipo.
Pending to complete the body shell painting.
Next re release project is already on the work bench. Similar to the Optima, it has been completed half way, and it is time to get it done and run it. A salute to the golden 80s.
