Bandai 1/72 A-Wing #3
Unassembled the kit, and applied Finishers green putty to smoothen some surface area on the fuselage.
Rest of the parts are washed, and prepare for paint shop. The pilot seat has a large connector to "click" in the pilot, since I am not doing the pilot (as usual, what's new), the connector is removed and sanded before proceeding further.
Airfix 1/72 A-4B/Q #13
Time to install small parts - missiles, landing gear well doors, landing gear supporting rod .... onto the bottom side of the fuselage. Also found that the small "wing" behind the canopy has been loosen, and have to make a new one again.
Now down to a few parts to go : ejection seat, machine gun, rear exhaust, and the most important canopy

Bandai 1/144 MAILeS Kenbu #1
I was not so sure what is it at the beginning when I received it together with a Hobby Japan magazine. I know what is it now :)
Just a quick build, and see what should I do next. It is very small. It has a strong industrial mechanical concept in its design and not traditional Gundam style robots.
Bandai 1/72 A-Wing #1
Wanted to start a new project this long weekend. Pick up the A-Wing and do a test fit in an hour.
Overall fitting is very good, except the top red plate around the cockpit - it does not fit into the well for it. Did some sanding on the inner and outer edges and it helps a bit, but still not there yet, will have to adjust further.
I might not install the pilot as usual, but then the pilot seat will have to be sanded as it has some connector for the pilot to sit in.
The kit also comes with a stand and a gun tower for display. Look nice !

A toy for childhood memory
Back in Hong Kong time, I spent some good weekend with this Pajero in Victoria Park with my dad.
This is not an actual re release, battery position has been changed from high CG to lower CG. With a hard plastic bodyshell, it is very close to the original design.
I will build this kit, and run it in Singapore parks, for good old memory.

Airfix 1/72 A-4B/Q #10
Preparing a few small parts for paint shop
And there was an accident (possibly 2nd time for this kit) when I cut off long and thin part which has two gates connecting to the tree - tailhook in this case, the part was broken into half when cut off the first gate. It could be due to the material, or the tension somehow being built into the tree / parts during injection process. I am not expert here, just blame guess.
Technically, there is a solution for it, and I have tried and it work well : first, cut off the portion of the tree holding the part, and then use two nippers to hold the two gates, finally, cut them off at same time !
Anyway, for the tailhook, I decide not to glue the broken pieces together. I use 0.3mm copper wire to create it.
