RG RX-78-2 #8

Adding a few more parts on both legs and waist on RX-78 and compared its size with the RG Zaku. RG RX-78 seems to be thinner overall. 

Using the following colors for the main body shell.

Re Release Hotshot Update

 Built shocks and rolling cage, getting closer. I don't now how I built one back in 80s, it is so complicated compared to the RC in the last 20 years. Definitely look great despite the complication or I would call it over-engineered.

Metu handheld compressor

Tested this handheld compressor for a few times on the HG and RG kits. Found that the airbrush which come with the kit started having broken o-ring and decided to swap the airbrush. Tried Tamiya 0.2mm and 0.3mm airbrushes which fit on the compressor without adaptor. Settled with Tamiya 74545 0.2mm airbrush as it seems the output of the compressor matches a 0.2mm nozzle perfectly. 

I used this combination to spray base color, clear gloss, shading and flat clear on the RG RX-78-2 feet and waist's yellow parts. Outcome is not bad and it is sure a handy tool for quick painting for small objects in the range of normal size RG/HG parts.

HG Zaku II F2 #11 (completed)

After leaving this kit for a few month, got the mood to complete the machine gun.

Decals, panel lines and weathering, and finally completed the kit.

Story line : A number of brand new Zaku II F2 has been handover from Zeon to ESFS after the One Year War at U.C. 0080, a few of them has been sent to Luna II base as training machine. ESFS has repainted them to yellow to identify its training purpose.

Core fighter completed with GSI GX113 UV cut flat clear :

Adding blue and red parts on the skeleton and start applying decals on both feet :

The bright tone colors on the body are actually transparent blue and red on top of silver. Just sprayed 2 layers of the transparent colors will make the necessary effect. 

F40 body shell for 1/12 pan car

 It is a 1/16 body shell for some other RC chassis, I think it is nice so fit it on an Xray x12 pan car.

Top Force Evo and Super Hotshot

 The TF Evo is hard to find, not sure why.
