S411 ERYX

Complete the build of ERYX chassis, overall the material has been improved from previous version of S411 but the fitting is not as good.
A few minor touch is required during the build process :
(1) The cover plate of the anti-roll bar link has to be filed a lot to fit in the new new a-arm and allow smoothness of the ball.
(2) I noticed that ball cup material has been strengthen but some of the ball cup fit too tight on the ball. End up I have to use the older version of the ball cup to allow free movement.

(3) Mid lay shaft needs a few  shims (arorund 4-5mm) to get rid of the play between the two holders.
(4) Maybe this will be different for different band or type of servo, I need to file the graphite servo mount plate to allow clearance of the servo horn movement.

I also use the older version of the gear diff which comes with the harder out-drive to replace the solid axle in front. Upper one in below picture is the new gear diff comes with the ERYX, and out-drive material is alloy / light weigth, I think it is good to use in the rear. The lower one in below picture is the older version of gear diff which comes with the heavy duty out drive, better for use in front in my opinion. I used 1million cts oil in front and 1200cts oil in rear.
Finally, the chassis is completed and soon to test run with Speed Passion Reventron Pro and MMM 13.5 motor.
