Compared to Hasegawa 1/35 kit, Kaiyodo kit comes with much less part count, no gap to fill, only handful of mold lines to clear, but the down size is thicker parts in general and some holes to fill on the legs.
This is after a few rounds of Gaia / Mr Color, decals and wash with AK weathering.
A bit more weathering to go and then clear coat to finalize the kit, hopefully very soon.
