Hands were dirty, hence only picture to show the work table but not details fix / parts.
First, one of the rear side wheel lock nut kept coming out after run, and I noticed it is a bit of heat on it.
Suspect the bearings issue inside the bearing hub. Open it up and found that both bearings died. Replaced.
Second, I think the clutch engagement is a bit tight - so need to remove the engine and adjust it. Shaft drive car is a bit more troublesome compared to belt drive car on adjustment of clutch. While remove the engine I noticed the 3rd problem.
Third, there is one deformed bearing which supposed to hold the backside of the two-speed layshaft. As a result, the layshaft is hanging and only connect to the bearing hub in the front. Remove the two-speed layshaft from the chassis is a bit of work, and once I can see the shaft - unfortunately, the little screw which hold the plastic cup for center rear shaft is damaged and I cannot unscrew it. Tried remove all the parts from the other end of the layshaft, but end up the damaged bearing - its residual ring stuck on the layshaft. After spending sometime try to resolve it - I was thinking - change to new parts, why bother to fix. Hence I found a new layshaft and plastic shaft cups, rebuild the 2-speed and put them back.
Last but not least, all 4 tyres were trued to 60.40mm diameter.
Before the next game, I think it is better to check all other 3 bearing hubs, and back to setup station.
Potentially it would be the last weekend of run before the local onroad track to be close for renovation.
